West London boutique hotel Blakes has opened a pop-up bar in its courtyard for the summer. Filled with floral art by Rebecca Louise Law, exotic textiles by Matthew Williamson and curiosities such as a taxidermy peacock sourced from Rockett St George, this Hendrick’s gin-sponsored bar is a superb celebration of summer. Law’s signature piece, a beautiful canopy of hydrangeas, dried roses, peonies and juniper berries, contrasts with the punchy prints and exotic colours of Williamson’s textiles, created in collaboration with Osborne & Little. So what are you waiting for? Head there, order a Gin Basil Smash and kick back on a pile of colourful cushions.
